The Forte AP is the all-purpose sibling to the Forte BG, ceramic burrs instead of steel, designed to handle espresso, pour-over, and everything in between. Same all-metal commercial chassis, same touchscreen, same grind-by-weight option. For low-volume cafes or home brewers running a serious coffee bar, this is the one grinder that does both jobs without compromise.

• 54mm flat ceramic burrs. Ceramic stays sharp longer under heavy use and runs cooler, which preserves more of the bean's volatile aromatics on long sessions.
• Two grind modes, time or weight. Time mode for high-throughput, weight mode for precision. Three presets in each plus a manual option.
• 260 grind adjustments. 10 macro x 26 micro. Wide enough to cover French press through espresso.

Setup and care notes

Set espresso preset first, since espresso lives in the tightest part of the range. Brush the burr chamber weekly under daily use. Ceramic burrs typically run well beyond 1,500 lbs.

Who it's for, who it isn't

Right for low-volume cafes that need one grinder to do both espresso and brew, or for the home brewer with a serious dual-method setup. Not the right pick if you only brew filter coffee, in which case the steel-burr Forte BG pulls cleaner extraction at the same price.
