Pietro Pro Brewing Manual Coffee Grinder - Blue

The Pietro Pro Brewing in deep blue is the hand grinder we point filter brewers toward when they want the burr geometry of an electric brew grinder in something they can take camping, on the road, or to the office. The blue finish reads cleaner than black and pairs naturally with stainless equipment.

Why it works

• 58mm flat steel burrs, vertical orientation. Most hand grinders use small conical burrs. Pietro put commercial-portafilter-sized flat burrs in vertical alignment, which is what you'd find inside an electric brew grinder. The cup quality reflects that.
• M-Modal burr geometry, filter-tuned. Particle distribution is shaped specifically for pour-over, Chemex, Kalita, and AeroPress, the unimodal curve that filter extraction rewards.
• Stepless ring-nut adjustment, 15 microns per click. Real micro-control. Dial in a Hario V60 in the morning and switch to a Chemex by evening.
• Detachable burr chamber. Push a button, twist, lift. Cleaning the burrs takes a minute, not a screwdriver session.
• Includes accessory pack. Stabilizing baseplate for steadier grinding, dosing funnel for clean transfers, brush for burr maintenance.

Setup and care notes

Brush the chamber every couple of weeks under daily use. The neodymium-sealed grinds container holds aroma overnight, useful if you grind one cup at a time. Burrs are user-replaceable when they eventually wear.

Who it's for, who it isn't

Right for the filter-focused brewer who wants commercial burr geometry without buying an electric, or for travel and home setups where electric isn't an option. Not the right pick if you brew espresso, the M-Modal burrs are filter-tuned, in which case the Pietro Manual (B-Modal) is the version you want.
