Fellow Stagg EKG Pro Electric Kettle - Matte White

The Fellow Stagg EKG Pro is the kettle for anyone who has gotten serious about pour-over and wants the water side of the cup handled. Set a temperature to the degree, hold it while you brew, and pour through a gooseneck spout that gives you a slow, steady stream instead of a splash. The Matte White finish keeps things clean and bright on a lighter counter, with an all-white body, handle, and lid pull.

Why it works

• Temperature to the degree, 104°F to 212°F. Light roasts want hotter water, darker roasts and green tea want cooler. Pick the number instead of guessing off a boil.
• Hold mode for 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Brew a second cup or a second pot of tea without reheating from scratch.
• A spout built for flow control. The part of pour-over technique that matters most is pouring slowly and evenly. This spout makes that the easy default.
• Built-in brew stopwatch and scheduling. Time your bloom and pours right from the base, and set the kettle to have water ready before you are.
• Altitude setting and pre-boil. Tell it your elevation so it stops boiling over, or bring water to a full boil first and let it settle to your set temperature.

Setup and care notes

Fill it, set your temperature, and go. If you have hard water, descale every month or two with a citric acid solution, or brew with filtered water and skip most of that chore entirely.

Who it's for, who it isn't

It fits pour-over brewers, AeroPress users who care about water temperature, and tea drinkers who switch between green, oolong, and black. If you only make French press or drip, a basic kettle does the job and this is more tool than you need.
