Setup and care notes

The DUO is residential-rated, not commercial; running it in a cafe setting voids the warranty and isn't safe for the duty cycle. Plan placement around the NEMA 5-20 plug; the included adapter handles a standard 15-amp outlet, but a dedicated 20-amp circuit is the cleaner long-term answer. Warm-up takes about three and a half minutes. Backflushing weekly with the included blank basket keeps the group head clean.

Who it's for, who it isn't

It fits the home barista who's outgrown a single-boiler machine and wants two-circuit performance without stepping up to the DUO PLUS price. It's the right pick if the joystick steam wand and competition shower screen on the PLUS aren't features you'll miss.
