Grinder PortaHolder (for Baratza Encore, Virtuoso & Preciso)

The Grinder PortaHolder is the small accessory that makes a Baratza Encore, Virtuoso, or Preciso usable for espresso. It replaces the catch bin with a cradle that holds a portafilter directly under the chute, so grounds drop into the basket instead of into a cup that you then transfer.

Why it works

• Portafilter goes straight under the chute. No transferring grounds, no static mess, no half-doses lost to the kitchen.
• Adjustable to most portafilters. Home-machine portafilters and 58mm commercial sizes both seat in the cradle.
• Drop-in fit. Slides into the same slot as the standard catch bin on the Encore, Virtuoso, and Preciso. No tools.
• Doubles as a workflow upgrade. Even for filter coffee, the cradle gives you a stable hand-free grind position.

Setup and care notes

Pull the catch bin, slide the PortaHolder into the same slot. Wipe clean as needed. No assembly.

Who it's for, who it isn't

Right for any Encore, Virtuoso, or Preciso owner pulling espresso, especially anyone using the Encore ESP. Not necessary if you only brew filter coffee, the standard catch bin works fine for that.
